Journal QJM
The QJM is the monthly journal of the Association of Physicians. Founded by Sir William Osler in 1907, it publishes original papers, reviews and commentaries relevant to the science and practice of medicine. The current issue and an electronic archive of the journal is available on line at QJM welcomes contributions which may take the form of original papers, describing either clinical research or basic scientific work; review articles on advances in clinical medicine or medical science; commentaries expressing personal or controversial views on any medical topic; and correspondence on matters arising from articles published in the journal. We aim to offer rapid review and publication of accepted articles and to aid this process, contributors are asked to read Information for Authors (Author instructions). All manuscripts should be submitted on disk or by e-mail. If possible, send the manuscript as an e-mail attachment (MSWord or RTF format) initially. We will inform you if a disk version or hard copy is also required. Original papers should include a structured abstract of fewer than 250 words under the headings: background, aim, study design, results and conclusions. Authors may find it helpful to consult a recent issue of the journal to ensure that their manuscript corresponds to the usual QJM style. Please note that QJM seldom accepts individual case reports as original papers.
Manuscripts and enquiries should be addressed to the editor at QJM.editorialoffice@OxfordJournals.org
